How to Win Slots Machines

Slot Machines Winning Strategies

Preface

Hot slots, a giving machine, a machine that didn't give for a long time, these are only a small selection of believes that people have about slot machines that have better chances of winning.

Don't waste your time trying to find a "due" to payoff machine it's a myth. The slot machines are programmed at the manufacturing site to be random; each play on each machine has the same odds no matter how often or how long ago it paid off.

One of the true facts about slot machines is that mostly, higher value machine payoff a little more often the smaller value machines. The nickel and quarter machines usually pay the least, while the $100.00 machines pay off the most often.

It is also true that if you are a consistent player, and play a lot the casino may regard you as a preferred customer. The casino may give these preferred customers a prize in an attempt to keep them coming and playing in their casino.

Simple Slots

There is no strategy in simple slot machines. All you do is insert money, pull the handle (click the key) and let luck take its course. Just remember to gamble with what you can afford to lose. Take your wins when you get them, and play for fun.

Multiple-Coin Slots

Multiple-Coin slots are slot machines that can be played with multiple coins. There are two different kinds:

The first kind is machines that by increasing the number of payout lines, it is possible to increase the odds of winning. There is a maximum of five lines three horizontal and two diagonal. Each coin played adds one more. The machine will pay out on winning sequences on all lines you've bet on.

The second kind, are slot- machines that their payout depends on your bet. For instance, if one coin is played the payout might be 200 coins, 500 coins for two coins played and if a third coin is played - 1000 coins. In these machines the best strategy is to play the maximum number of coins, because assuming you win the same number of times the additional payout percentage makes you more money.

It is smarter to play a quarter machine using maximum coins than to play a dollar machine using one coin.

Winning Attitude

There are a few points you should keep in mind when you want to win some real money at an online casino slot machine.

The casinos know well and not from a book that greed is the greatest motivator, so know yourself and play according to your style.

Limit your play to 3 to 5 pulls on any one machine. On quarter machines you can allow yourself a little more pulls.

If you enjoy playing the slots randomly, that's fine, it's your money. We played that way for many years and thinking we're enjoying ourselves and loosing money, but we can tell you we have a lot more fun now using specific techniques.

To avoid disappointment make sure you understand the winnings diagram on any slot you play.

Don't chase the Jackpot, Particularly on the high-end slots. If you want to play for fun then play the nickel machines. $5.00 will take you too far too soon.

It is best to play the maximum number of coins, depending on you and your funds. This will increase your odds for a bigger win. If you get a good hit...play another couple of pulls and run.

Don't forget yourself. Make sure you notice when you cannot afford more losses and stop. Don't count on the casino to tell you you're exaggerating.

Take a chance on high-end machines such as the 5.00 slots only when you can afford it. If you get lucky, grab the money and run (or in our case - click out immediately).

How to Play Slots Machines

The players aim is to get a winning line on the slot machine as stated in the Winnings Diagram. The most basic slot machines require you to bet one coin (a fixed amount such as a dollar), they have only three reels, only one payout line, and pay a multiple of the bet coins value (e.g. The out come of three apples on the payout line will be a payout 300 times the bet coins value). After inserting the coin and pulling a handle (or presses a button on the front panel) the player waits for the wheels to stop on the payout line to see if, and how much he has won (the payout symbols and payoff values are posted on the front of the machine).

The machines of the new generation, accept up to five coins, can have up to five wheels, and in some cases have up to five payout lines (three across and two diagonal).

How to play online Slot Machines

The simplicity of slot machines remains also when gambling at online casinos.

The first thing to do once you've decided on the amount you want to gamble is depositing it into the slot machine by clicking on the appropriate chip.

Next, select the value of the coin you want to bet in each spin: $0.25, $1, or $5.

Last, choose the number of these coins that you wish to bet in the next spin by clicking on the BET ONE button once, twice, or three times. If you choose to bet the maximum amount of coins (3), you can also do it by clicking the BET MAX button. If you do so, the slot machine will spin automatically. If you bet one or two coins, you start the machine by clicking the SPIN button or clicking on the arm.

Cashing out is possible whenever you wish to do so. Just click on CASH OUT and receive your credit in the machine.

Here is an example of a winnings diagram:

Slots Machines History

Ever seen old gambling films? A hotshot gambler giving his (under aged) wife a few dollars to play the slot machines, so he can have a quiet game of serious gambling? Well this scene is not as old as you may think. Up to the late as the mid - seventies slots were not thought of serious games of chance. In those days a "respectable" table player wouldn't be caught playing the slots.

Slot machines have made a long way. The traditional historic name for slots was "The One Armed Bandit", for clear reasons. But they have grown out of those early Western times, gaining more friendly names, such as "slots" or slot machine.

The first generations were mechanical devices. People used to try all kinds of ways (quite creative sometimes) to beat the house. Using magnets, drilling a hole through the side of the machines and much more… There was even a legal method discovered by a few that involved a style of pulling the handle that controlled the drop of one or more of the reels. This increased odds greatly, and caused the casino operators some concern until a technique was developed to eliminate this advantage.

Video killed the radio star, but video games brought slot machines back to life, changing their status forever. The casino operators developed a new line of electronic slot machines, ones that offered brilliant graphics and thrilling sound effects. They also added further improvements such as connecting several machines together and taking a small percentage of every play and adding it to a jackpot total. If no one hits the jackpot for some time it can grow into an enormous amount, and although the odds are small, one lucky player will win big one day. These "jackpots" also helped to increase slot popularity to where it is today.

Outside manipulating of the machines by cheaters became just a part of slot machine history, since almost all slot machines are electronic and computer controlled.

Today slots are the most popular form of both land and Web Based Gambling, with up to 40% of casino income.

Slots Machines

Slot machines are games of pure chance. There are no rules to learn, and the outcome is completely random. The attraction to this game is due to the ease of play, the potentially huge payoffs and the excitement level around the slot area.

Slot machines come in many different forms with various symbols on the wheels and several payout systems. Slot machines can have from three to five reels/wheels and one to five payoff lines. The basic idea is the same in all of them, to line up particular symbols on the payout line. As the combination becomes more unlikely the payoff increases. The main attraction of slots is that they have the biggest jackpots on offer - sometimes going up to millions of dollars! You can choose to bet on sums between $0.25 and $15 on each spin. Your winnings depend on the wagered amount.

All you need to do is drop in some coins, pull the handle and hope to hear that lovely sound of money pouring down.

How to play Keno

Creativeness is the name of the game in keno. Many different ways of betting were invented over the years. To make it simple and clear we divided them into 6 types:

Here I explained all the gambling games types in the Keno game

Straight Tickets

This is the basic and the most common ticket. There are no complications here. You simply mark your numbers and wait for the draw. Of course there are a few more things you need to know.

You have to decide how many spots you want to play. Most casinos, including web based gambling sites, allow you to choose 1 to 15 spots, and some even permit to choose 20, 32 or 40 numbers on a straight ticket. You will normally want to play 4 mark 8 numbers. Below 4 spots, your payoff isn't worth the average 30% casino take. Look at some of the other possibilities, at 8 numbers; your odds are about 230,115 to 1. If you mark 9 it jumps to 1.38 million to 1, and at 15, your odds of hitting all of them is an unrealistic 428 BILLION to 1!

Your last decision is to determine how much to bet. Ordinary straight tickets are $1.00, although some are 70 cents or lower. You can also play multiples of the base rates. For example, you could play a $1.00 ticket for $4.00, and your winnings will be multiplied by 4 times the $1.00 payout rate.

One very important thing to notice when playing multiples of the base rate; the casino will not pay more than the aggregate limit on any one game. So if the aggregate limit is $50,000, your payout will never exceed $50,000, no matter how much you bet. Take that into consideration when deciding how much money to wager.

Split Tickets

A split ticket is simply 2 or more straight tickets played on the same physical ticket. Each logical ticket includes a group of numbers that are either circled, or separated by a line. Each game (group of numbers) must have it's own unique numbers, and can not share numbers with any other group.

There is no advantage to a split ticket since you cannot use the same number more than once. It simply allows you to play two or more games on the same piece of paper. (The advantage might be said is that by joining the game you save paper and make it a friendly to environment game).

Way Tickets

The payouts on way tickets are the same as playing the same games in multiple tickets and so there are only two reasons to play a way ticket.

The first is convenience. If it is more convenient for you to mark multiple games on a single ticket, a way ticket may be for you.

The second reason to play a way ticket is fractional rates. Some casinos will let you play for as little as 10 cents per way, instead of the usual $1.00 you would have to play on a straight ticket, Thus, playing more games on the same amount of money.

Combination Tickets

Combination tickets provide the keno player the possibility to combine groups of straight bets on one ticket in various ways with the player betting one unit for each possible combination. Players can also combine straight bets and way bets on one ticket. The groups bet on a combination ticket should be marked clearly on the right hand side of the ticket.

King Tickets

A king ticket has one number that is circled by itself. This number is referred to as the King and can be used in combination with other groups of numbers on a ticket.

King tickets are marked similarly to way and split tickets with the number of combinations played and the amount wagered per group displayed on the right hand side of the ticket.

Special Tickets

These tickets are Games Extra Blog favorite, often offered by the casinos in order to promote their keno game.

A special ticket must be played in a certain way, decided before the game starts and pays off using a different pay schedule. This payout chart is usually marked on the special ticket itself. Special tickets usually offer slightly better deals than other keno tickets and are used to entice players. You still don't understand why it is our favorite? Read on.

An example of a special ticket is the one called top and bottom. A player pays $5.00 for this special ticket and chooses either the top 40 or the bottom 40 numbers on a card. If all twenty numbers drawn are in the section the player selected, they usually get paid around $100,000. If none of the numbers drawn are located in the section the player selected they still receive around $100,000. All other options are paid according to the special payout schedule. Simple and beautiful.

Keno History

Keno is in many ways similar to a lotto game. That's because keno is in fact lotto. During the 3000-years of keno history the name has been changed a few times, mostly to get around the law or taxes or both. The one thing everyone agrees on is that the Chinese invented the game to fund their army and The Great Wall.

Keno started out using 120 Chinese characters. Before the game left China, that number was reduced to 90. Keno came to America in the 19th century, together with the wave of Chinese immigrants. These were mostly the Chinese railroad workers of folklore. About this time the game was reduced once again, this time to 80 Chinese characters.

Although illegal (or maybe because), keno flourished among Chinese immigrants, especially around big cities like San Francisco. It became known as the Chinese lottery. English speaking Americans became interested in the game, but had difficulty differentiating the Chinese characters used in the game (who wouldn't). Around the beginning of the 20th century, keno operators replaced the Chinese characters with Arabic numbers to attract more players.

Although Nevada legalized most forms of gambling in 1931, the legislature did not legalize lottery. And the Chinese lottery was definitely a lottery. To avoid this trouble, operators simply changed the name to Race Horse Keno (simply genius). Each number was regarded as a horse. Today many keno operations still call their games "races". When the U.S. Government passed a law taxing off track betting, the name was once again changed, this time to just Keno.

In 1963 the total keno payout limit in Nevada was $25,000. In 1979 it was changed to $50,000. In 1989 the Nevada Gaming Commission removed the limit, and casinos are now free to set their aggregate limits as they wish.

So when you're sitting at the keno lounge or more comfortably at home with the computer, waiting for the board to flash the numbers, just think what a long tradition you are continuing, sit back, relax and enjoy the game.

Keno

This is the place to relax and get to know an easy to learn game. Playing keno is a good way to rest after a game like blackjack and fun to play at web based gambling sites.

Unfortunately, it also has a higher house advantage than almost any other casino game. That makes it one of the worst games to play in a casino.

If you're familiar with any lotto, you already know almost enough to play keno. Keno is much alike lotto only it offers better odds and more frequent games. The downside of playing keno is a monstrous house advantage of around 30 percent! The game includes three main components; the keno ticket, the ball hopper or cage and a display board.

In general terms, the game works as follows:
After buying the ticket, the player marks one to twenty numbers.
Out of 80 balls, each marked with a number from 1 to 80, 20 balls at random by a machine and is displayed on the display board.
A win occurs if enough of the spots selected on the ticket match the balls drawn.
Almost every winning combination for keno has odds of more than 10:1 and most are in the 100:1 range or beyond. Players can usually participate in a game of keno in several locations throughout the casino, but the game is actually "played" in the Keno Lounge. The Keno Lounge is much like a fancy bingo hall, with rows of chairs and tables facing the display board. The display board shows eighty numbers with the ones selected highlighted. Bets are made in the area below the board using markers that usually look like crayons.br/>
Well that's about all there is to it. Of course there are a few other details such as wagering, payouts, odds, etc. Read the following pages to know all about keno bets possibilities.

Mega jacks History

In Mega Jacks we have yet another variant on Jacks or Better, which if you did not know is the online casinos world’s most popular variant of online Video Poker. Mega Jacks is one in a line of many Video Poker games in gambling history, starting with the first online casinos poker game, then moving onto the online casinos video poker genre, then Jacks or Better, and finally onto games like Mega Jacks. Mega Jacks is as fun to play as Jacks or Better is. And it is as easy to understand as any other variant of online casinos video poker, as any student of poker history can probably tell you.
Video poker emerged during a time in history where computers were coming into their own, and casinos owners as well as gamblers saw the potential in using this new technology to the gambling world’s advantage. Video poker could, in many ways, be seen as the logical precursor to online poker. After all, online casinos use computers to bring gambling to a public that might not ordinarily gamble, just as video poker brought poker to an audience that ordinarily wouldn’t engage in the sort of gambling play necessary to win at regular games of poker.
Online casinos video poker has since grown to amazing heights. The variants of casinos games on the internet resembling the original video poker are numerous, ranging from Jacks or Better to 4-Line Jacks or Better to Mega Jacks and others. You might not be able to find every single variant of internet gambling game at an online casino, but you can usually count on finding video poker, especially Jacks or Better, or Mega Jacks, at any online casinos that you visit.

mega jacks terms

The student of language will instantly come to realize that “Mega Jacks” is a name for a game that incorporates “jacks” into the title in a way that could be confusing. For those who like to play online casinos games and know little about terms, “jacks” could either be jacks of the card variety, or yet another variety of “blackjack”. Alas, for the casinos online gaming enthusiast it is quite obvious that Mega Jacks is a variation not of blackjack, but rather Jacks or Better, that ever-popular version of Video Poker.
And Video Poker is of course a variant of regular online poker. Anyone who plays poker knows that online poker and regular land-based poker might be totally different, but they share the same terminology. This also translates into Video Poker, where a Royal Flush is the same as it is in regular poker – only the method changes. There are still kings, queens, aces and obviously jacks as well in the games of online casinos poker and video poker at online gambling websites.
But in video poker you don’t have to worry about bluffing – faking out the other players whether you have good cards or not, but usually not as good as you’d like. That is an advantage that video poker in real casinos and poker online share. In any case, online casinos poker and video poker are very similar to one another when it comes to terms, and so if a person has ever played poker or video poker, the rules and terms of Mega Jacks should come as no confusing surprise to them

how to win mega jacks

If you are playing the game of Mega Jacks at online casinos, then winning happens when you get pairs of Jacks, Queens, Kings and Aces, or two pair, or three of a kind, straights flushes, full houses, four of a kind, straight flush, and the grandest of them all, the Royal Flush. It is important to remember, too, that Mega Jacks is based on Jacks or Better, which is one of the most – if not the most – popular version of Video Poker around at online casinos. If you’re playing video poker online, you’re usually playing something pretty close to Jacks or Better.
Now, the amount you win of course depends on what card combination you get. The key to know how to win at Mega Jacks is paying attention to what cards you have, what card combination you need, and so on and so forth. Jacks is in the name, after all, so if you can collect Jacks it is a good bet when playing casinos online Mega Jacks that is probably the most ideal thing to do. But of course, there are many cards in a virtual deck of an online casinos poker or video poker game, so if you’re assuming one card will turn up more than another, you might be disappointed.
Mega Jacks is based on the similarly named Jacks or Better. So if you know the card combinations and know how to win at both Video Poker’s standard version and the Jacks or Better online casinos version, you can win at Mega Jacks. Winning at online casinos games is always fun, but you need to remember that chance always plays a role. And when you’re playing online casinos games like Mega Jacks, make sure you get your hands on some jacks – they are a key to winning.

How to play mega jacks

If you’ve ever played online casinos Video Poker then you can easily get the hang of Mega Jacks. If you’ve ever played Video Poker’s most popular variant, Jacks or Better, at online casinos, then you can probably quickly attune yourself to the rhythm of Mega Jacks. In fact, if you’re well-versed in how to play online casinos games in general, you’re in good shape. The best, of course, scenario is if you know how to play poker. If you know how to play poker, then you are easily able to play Video Poker at online casinos. If you know how to play video poker at online casinos, then you can get by playing the most popular version of Video Poker, that of Jacks or Better. And if you can play Jacks or Better well enough at online casinos, then you’re pretty much set when it comes to understanding how to play Mega Jacks at an online casinos site. Don’t worry if you are not all that well-versed in traditional casinos poker. You don’t have to be a card shark to win at online poker, and it is even easier to win at video poker if you are willing to learn as you play along and take some risks now and then. Mega Jacks is based on Jacks or Better, itself a version of Video Poker that has proven its mettle at online casinos. How do you play Mega Jacks? By actually, simply, playing it as you would online video poker of the Jacks or Better variety with little variation.
